1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ThreadM ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use ThreadM. These terms apply to all users including buyers, suppliers, and admins.

2. Platform Description

ThreadM is a B2B marketplace connecting buyers (retailers, boutique owners, resellers) with suppliers (manufacturers, wholesalers) in India's women's ethnic wear industry. ThreadM facilitates discovery and enquiries — it is not a party to any transaction between buyers and suppliers.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Supplier accounts require admin approval before products go live
• You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into agreements
• One account per person or business entity

4. Supplier Obligations

• All product listings must be accurate, genuine, and legally sellable in India
• Product photos must be of the actual product you are selling
• Pricing, MOQ, and stock information must be kept up to date
• Suppliers must respond to buyer enquiries in good faith
• GST number provided must be valid and belong to your business
• Counterfeit, illegal, or infringing products are strictly prohibited

5. Buyer Obligations

• Enquiries must be genuine business enquiries — not spam or solicitation
• Buyers must not share supplier contact details outside ThreadM without consent
• Misrepresenting your business or intent when making enquiries is prohibited

6. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on ThreadM:

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Circumventing the platform to conduct transactions outside ThreadM
• Scraping, copying, or redistributing content from the platform
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform
• Using AI tools for spam, abuse, or any unlawful purpose
• Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ThreadM — including the design, code, branding, and AI tools — is owned by ThreadM. Suppliers retain ownership of their product photos and descriptions but grant ThreadM a licence to display this content on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

ThreadM is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for disputes between buyers and suppliers, product quality, delivery, or payments made outside the platform. Users transact at their own risk. ThreadM's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law.

9. Account Termination

ThreadM reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or harms other users or the platform. Users may also delete their own accounts at any time from their account settings.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
